Email QR code generator

One scan opens the phone’s email app with your address, subject line and message ready to go. People only have to press send — ideal for support requests, quotes, RSVPs and feedback.

Dynamic: the code points to a short My QR Studio link, so you can change the destination later without reprinting. Static: your content is stored inside the code itself. It works offline and never expires, but can’t be edited after printing.

Higher levels survive damage and logos, but make the code denser.

Scanners need empty space around the code. 4 modules is the standard.

Where Email QR codes work best

Customer support

Printed on products and manuals so customers can reach you with the right subject line.

Quote requests

On trade-show stands and brochures, with a template the customer can complete.

Event RSVPs

Guests reply with a pre-written message in one tap.

Internal requests

IT, facilities or HR requests from posters around the office.

Best practices

  • Use a clear subject so your inbox can filter and route the messages.
  • Keep the pre-written body short; people will add their own details.
  • Use a shared inbox address rather than a personal one for printed material.
  • Test on both iPhone and Android — both support mailto links with subject and body.

Email QR code FAQ

What does an email QR code contain?

A standard mailto: link with the address and URL-encoded subject and body, which every major email app understands.

Can I add CC or BCC?

Not in this version. Most phone email apps ignore CC and BCC in mailto links anyway.

Is the email sent automatically?

No. The code only opens a draft; the person scanning always chooses to send it.

Can I change the address later?

Email codes are static, so the address is fixed. If it may change, use a Website code pointing to a contact page.

Will special characters in the subject work?

Yes. We URL-encode the subject and body, so spaces, accents and symbols arrive intact.
