How do I make a QR code for a website?

Can I change the link after printing?

Yes, if you create a dynamic code. It encodes a short My QR Studio link that redirects to your destination, and the destination can be updated later. Static codes encode the URL directly and can’t be changed.

Do website QR codes expire?

Static codes never expire. Dynamic codes only stop working if you pause them or set an expiry date.

Why is my QR code so dense?

Long URLs with tracking parameters need more modules. Use dynamic mode, which always encodes a short link, or remove unnecessary parameters.

Is http:// allowed?

Yes, but https:// is strongly recommended. Many phones warn users before opening insecure pages.
